A year after graduating from college and in search of warmer weather, Kelli Jo drove from snowy Buffalo to Los Angeles to start a new life. While trying to get adjusted to her new surroundings, her art took a backseat and was put on hold for a short time. When she started painting again, it was in more of a traditional and realistic style.
Recent works by Kelli Jo are much more of an abstract style. Her use of color and her style of blending are what bring one's attention to her pieces. She has worked in both acrylics and oils.
She currently resides in Culver City, CA and works in Los Angeles. Her goal is to be able to dedicate herself fulltime to painting while she dreams of someday living in the Hollywood Hills.
